Introduction

MakeIt Labs is New Hampshire's first community workshop (a.k.a makerspace or hackerspace ), and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Located in Nashua, NH, we opened our doors in 2010 to give makers a place to dream, learn, and create with other like-minded people.

Our Space

Members have access to our 20,000 sq.ft. facility which is divided into many distinct areas such as the electronics and computer lab, wood shop, machine shop, welding/fabrication shop, automotive garage bay, rapid prototyping areas, classrooms, meeting spaces, lounge, kitchen, etc.  See our equipment list to get a better idea of the resources contained in each of these areas.

Our Members

We're more than a place to work on projects; we're a community.  Socialize with like minds while relaxing in the lounge, or collaborate on a project at one of our workstations.

The members of MakeIt Labs are easily our greatest asset.  We're a 100% volunteer organization, run by people passionate about helping others learn and create. Need help to make your idea? Just like discovering new things? Come be a part of our community of students, hobbyists, engineers, artists and more.

Our City

We're proud to call Nashua our home, and giving back to the local community is part of our mission.  Our classes and workshops are open to the general public, and anyone is welcome to drop in for open house nights.  We're also thrilled to host special events for groups interested in technology and creativity, either at our facility or yours.  Whether it's teaching grade school kids to solder at the local libraries, hosting a group of high school students to design go-karts, or assisting with college level projects, we strongly support STEM/STEAM initiatives.  Please contact us if you'd like to discuss a partnership!
